It was a busy fall in the land of the prairie starfish, producing four vastly different short videos about lionfish, science cheerleaders, Greensburg, Kansas, and the need for a Climate NCSE. In case you missed any of them, here they are together.

1. THE LIONFISH PSA

Be sure to visit the website and join the Facebook group with over 3000 members and a lively discussion about this scourge of the Caribbean.

2. GENIE SCOTT: THE NEED FOR A CLIMATE N.C.S.E.

A reposting of the video has led to over 50,000 views, hopefully spurring the discussion on the need for something similar to NCSE for the climate community.

3. SCIENCE CHEERLEADERS IN D.C.!

Science Cheerleader Darlene Cavalier is riding a wave of popularity with her concept for inspiring girls interested in science as the video is approaching 100,000 views!

4. “AMBER WAVES OF GREEN” (GREENSBURG, KANSAS)

This is perhaps the most compelling green story of the past few years, which needs to be told over and over again — that if a small conservative town in Kansas can turn green, it can happen anywhere in this country.
